The new James Bond role for which contenders Theo James, Tom Hiddleston, Aidan Turner and Chris Hemsworth vie is ripe for the picking for Jamie Bell. Despite executive producer Barbara Broccoli being reluctant to part ways with Daniel Craig as James Bond, "Billy Elliot" star Jamie Bell reportedly has long caught the eye of the 007 franchise boss.

Candidates for the new James Bond role, Theo James, Tom Hiddleston, Aidan Turner and Chris Hemsworth among others, reportedly have big shoes to fill as in the past Digital Spy reported that Barbara Broccoli was loath to replace Daniel Craig as 007. The media outlet cites revelation by Barbara Broccoli to the New York Times that the "James Bond" executive producer will not consider a new 007 unless Daniel Craig explicitly states he is done with the character created by Ian Fleming. 

If Theo James, Tom Hiddleston, Aidan Turner, Chris Hemsworth or any other candidate is to become the new James Bond, Barbara Broccoli has to bestow the same description she gave Daniel Craig. The new James Bond has to be perfect for his time and his generation.

As it is Theo James, popular Tom Hiddleston, crowd favorite Aidan Turner, Chris Hemsworth and similar contenders for the new "James Bond" film lead may find stiff competition in Jamie Bell. The Metro cites a source for The Sun, who says that buzzed Daniel Craig replacement Jamie Bell has Barbara Broccoli for a fan.

The media outlet cites allegations that, if Jamie Bell becomes the new James Bond, this would not be the first time Barbara Broccoli would want him in a 007 film. Barbara Broccoli reportedly had a role for which she had Jamie Bell in mind in a previous "James Bond" film.

The Metro reports that Jamie Bell is now getting bets placed on him to give Theo James, Tom Hiddleston, Aidan Turner and Chris Hemsworth a serious run for their money for the new James Bond role.
