'Pokemon Go' Hacks: How The Captcha Feature Works? Hackers Admit New Security Feature Might End Cheats For Good?

The augmented reality game "Pokemon Go" is so addicting that the whole world goes crazy over it. Due to the huge interest and attention given to the gameplay, players and hackers find ways to exploit "Pokemon Go."

Just a month after "Pokemon Go" was released, there are already tons of hacks and cheats online. Every "Pokemon Go" player wants to catch Pokemon easily, gain XP faster and level up with ease. Bots and third party apps that allow "Pokemon Go" players to catch Pokemon even without walking become so popular and most were so delighted with it.

Unfortunately, Niantic wants a fair gameplay and is determined to end all the hacks and cheats in "Pokemon Go." Niantic started banning players with suspicious activities. However, their fight against "Pokemon Go" cheats is not over as they develop a new security feature that will end all the "Pokemon Go" cheating for good.

BGR reported that Niantic is adding a captcha feature that is intended to authenticate players and ensure that the one playing "Pokemon Go" is not a robot or any third-party software. As iTech Post puts it, this new security feature will serve as a tracking system. It will ask the "Pokemon Go" player to take action by clicking on the check box which says, "I'm not a robot." If the "Pokemon Go" system detects any unusual pattern during the game, the "Pokemon Go" player will be denied access to the game immediately.

We understand that several "Pokemon Go" players are hoping that there will be some sort of hacks and cheats to get through Niantic's new security feature. After all, this scenario of hacking and fixing between the developers and hackers is not new to popular games.  Supercell also worked for a fair play game against Xmod Games for "Clash of Clans".

However, even the "Pokemon Go" hackers admit that the captcha feature is hard to crack. Steven Bartell, one of the brains behind the bot called Insta-PokeGo that allowed "Pokemon Go" players to catch 3.3 million Pokemon in less than a week thinks that captcha is challenging.

Does this mean that there is no hope for more "Pokemon Go" hacks and cheats? Will the captcha security feature end the "Pokemon Go" cheating for good? Are you hopeful that there will be a way to hack the new security system? Share your thoughts in the comment section below.
