NBA Trade Rumors:LeBron James Not Pleased With J.R. Smith Leavings Cavs; Want To Reunite With Old Pal Dwyane Wade?

Cleveland Cavaliers has won its first NBA title last season, thanks to LeBron James, J.R. Smith, Kevin Love, Kyrie Irving and the rest of the Cavs. Unfortunately, we might not see the same roster this NBA season.

As the old adage goes, "if it ain't broke, don't fix it." Fans of the Cleveland Cavaliers and Cavs themselves know that they are not broken and that they don't need fixing. Thus, they are not trading Kevin Love because they wish to keep the same roster in the upcoming NBA season.

However, things are not that simple when a player hits the free agency market. According to reports, J.R. Smith is asking for a bigger deal from Cavs and reports are rife that the former Cleveland Cavaliers shooting guard is joining the pack of Minnesota Timberwolves after Cavs didn't give him the $15 million deal he requested.

J.R. Smith's departure from Cleveland Cavaliers did not make LeBron James happy. According to Sports Rageous, James pushed hard to get Smith back. LeBron James is not just the team captain, he is also known for playing a de facto GM role, where he envisions and builds a team that supports his playing style.

LeBron James is influential enough to get what he wants. In fact, James formed the current team that won Cavs' first NBA title by urging the team to sign coach Tyron Lue. Does James has enough power and authority to urge J.R. Smith's return to the team?

In an interview, the 12-time NBA All-Star urged Cavs to get J.R. Smith sign. The NBA MVP laughed and insisted that it is time to have Smith back.

Meanwhile, there are rumors that if Cavs falls short in defending their NBA title and with LeBron James not getting what he wants, the basketball superstar might take things on his own terms. He could reunite with Dwyane Wade in Chicago Bulls.

LeBron James and Dwyane Wade's tandem has been tested when both played for Miami Heat. They played four championships together and won two. Sam Smith disclosed that James and Wade planned to join Bulls in 2010 and might pursue this in 2017 if James follows Wade, who just signed with the team this offseason.

What do you think of LeBron James and Dwyane Wade's reunion? Is the duo pushing this in 2017? Are there still chances for J.R. Smith to play for Cleveland Cavaliers this NBA season? Share your thoughts in the comment section below.
