Moon Bloodgood of 'Falling Skies' Fame Gives Birth to Baby Girl

Actress Moon Bloodgood gave birth to a baby girl.

The "Terminator Salvation" star and husband Grady Hall welcomed Pepper on Dec. 15, 2012. This is the first child for the couple, who tied the knot in August 2011. The 37-year-old expecting mom kept her baby's gender until the end.

"I've never been happier," People magazine quoted the actress as saying to KoreAm in September. "I know now what happiness feels like. Everything just looks brighter, the world just looks sunnier. I think it's the hormones or something because I feel fantastic. I feel truly like I have purpose, and that purpose is not about me."

After confirming pregnancy, Bloodgood opened up about frequently experiencing violent nightmares and her excitement of becoming a mom.

"I've had a frequent dream where I'm killing someone. I had a dream where I was killing a woman and she was broken into pieces, and I just kept hammering in her face," Bloodgood told talk host Conan O'Brien, according to Contactmusic.com. "I don't know what this means, this is awful.

"I think I'm afraid of making a mistake, or I'm going to do something bad as a parent. But I have this dream where I kill someone and sometimes it's a woman, sometimes it's a dragon. (I blame) too much spicy food."

The actress, who became a member of the Laker Girls as a teen, became popular with the 2009 film "Terminator Salvation" and television series "Falling Skies". Bloodgood received the "Special Jury Prize" for the 2012 drama film "The Session."
