'Tomorrowland' Star George Clooney Says Having Kids is 'Not High' on His List

It seems that George Clooney is still in the honeymoon phase with his wife, British human rights lawyer Amal Alamuddin-Clooney. Recently, the actor, who is making the press rounds to promote his latest movie, "Tomorrowland,"  reminisced about how he proposed to his gorgeous wife, and how, after only seven months of dating, they were immediately married in Italy in September 2014.

He gushes when he talks about her to the press. When the discussion turns to having children, however, the Hollywood superstar is uncharacteristically uncomfortable, according to People Magazine. Clooney was asked about his thoughts on having babies on "CBS This Morning" by Charlie Rose and the "Gravity" star admitted he hasn't really thought about it.

"It hasn't been high on my list, uh, I've been asked a lot lately because I've gotten married and I'm doing a movie with kids in it," Clooney explained to Rose. The actor, however, countered that he doesn't have any family hang-ups. He is close to both his parents, Nick and Nina.

He also dotes on his nephew, the son of his sister, Adelia. In fact, he had another interesting story to tell in the Rose interview. "My nephew was just made prom king from the high school that I went to," he proudly told the show's host, as reported by Xpose

Clooney, known as the master prankster on the set of his movies, is also cool with having kids to work with. "It was fun just to be able to yell at the kids, that was good fun. When I did "ER," I played a pediatrician and I got to every once in a while yell at a kid, and it is fun," he said in an interview reported on Eyewitness News.

"It does make you laugh, because you would be talking with the kids just before you shoot and then it's like 'Let's go shoot,' and I'll be like 'Hey, shut up.' And the minute they say 'Cut,' everybody starts laughing," Clooney continues to share, but adds that yelling at kids is only fun in the movies, "I mean, come on, you can't do it in real life, because it's wrong."

Incidentally, in "Tomorrowland," the Oscar-winner for "Syriana" co-starred with young adults. The movie also appeals to children who enjoy fantasy stories. For now, however, it seems that "having kids" is only set for work for Clooney. He's still enjoying his life as a newly-married man.

"I have someone I can talk to about anything and someone who I care about more than I've cared about anything. So it's really nice," he revealed.
