'Pokemon Go Plus' Wearable To Be Released This September 16, Play 'Pokemon Go' On A Wearable Device

"Pokemon Go" players should get ready for the release of "Pokemon Go Plus," which is a wearable device, and will be out in the market this September 16. The device will let players play the game via connecting it to the phone thru Bluetooth and players will be notified if there is a monster around.

Nintendo announced on Thursday that its "Pokemon Go Plus" will be out in the United States, Australia, Japan, and New Zealand during the aforementioned date. It is unclear where else will "Pokemon Go Plus" be available but it is said to be out in most countries by September 16, CNET reported.

The "Pokemon Go Plus" will let "Pokemon Go" players have access over the game without having their phones out all the time. It can be worn either on the provided bracelet band or could be pinned in a player's clothing. The physical appearance of the "Pokemon Go Plus" could be likened to a Poke Ball in terms of design but it is shaped more like a Google Maps pin. It is also around the size of smart watches but specifically lines it functions with the "Pokemon Go" app and has nothing to do with calls, texts, or browsing, Euro Gamer reported.

If there will be PokeStops nearby or a monster in the area, "Pokemon Go Plus" will alert the player via blinking LED and vibration. If one finds items for "Pokemon Go," the player should swipe or tap so that these will be added to the player's inventory. Simply press the button on the "Pokemon Go Plus" device in order to throw a Poke Ball then the monster will be caught. Another flash and a vibration will mean that the monster was successfully caught via the "Pokemon Go Plus" device.

Nintendo added that "Pokemon Go Plus" will be compatible with iPhones not lower than the iPhone 5 flagship. The operating systems should also be iOS 8-9. As for Android users, Nintendo announced that "Pokemon Go Plus" will be compatible with the OS versions of 4.4-6.0.

There is no definite price for "Pokemon Go Plus" yet but it was reported in the past that it would cost $35.
