NBA Latest Trade News: Greg Monroe Coming To Chicago Bulls? Milwaukee Bucks Player Will Help Team Fill Pau Gasol's Position

Chicago Bulls is said to be interested in acquiring Greg Monroe of the Milwaukee Bucks as they have to fill the position left by Pau Gasol. Despite Jimmy Butler being the new face of the team, it is believed that Monroe will help make Chicago Bulls tougher.

Monroe is a low-post scorer and if Chicago Bulls will successfully acquire him, he will help in the rebuilding process that the NBA team is undergoing. The Chicago Bulls already made big changes in the team such as trading Derrick Rose and Justin Holiday for Jerian Grant, Jose Calderon, and Robin Lopez, Sportsrageous reported. Chicago Bulls also acquired Dwayne Wade and Rajon Rondo but lost their two big men, Joakim Noah and Gasol.

Lopez reportedly plays similarly regarding the play of Noah. However, no one in the present Chicago Bulls roster could play the way Gasol does. The departure of Gasol reportedly leaves a hole in Chicago Bulls so acquiring Monroe will be a good move. If Monroe gets acquired, he could play alongside Lopez.

Milwaukee Bucks reportedly needs a lot of young talents and that is what Chicago Bulls exactly has. Also, Milwaukee Bucks is said to be ardent when it comes to trading Monroe during this year's offseason.

Another team interested in Monroe is said to be Boston Celtics. According to Inquistr, the Boston Celtics and Milwaukee Bucks might have a five-player swap. Boston Celtics will be sending Amir Johnson, Jonas Jerebko, and Marcus Smart in exchange for Milwaukee Bucks' Monroe and Jabari Parker. However, if they lose both Monroe and Parker, it would hurt the Milwaukee Bucks so others are saying that the trade with Boston Celtics might not be possible.

It is possible that Milwaukee Bucks could trade Khris Middleton to Boston Celtics instead of Monroe. Milwaukee Bucks can then ask for Avery Bradley of Boston Celtics.
