'Final Fantasy 7' Remake Release Date Pushed Back to 2018, 2019, 2020 to Give Way to 'KH3'

Fans continue to wait for more "Final Fantasy 7" remake release date updates. Details about the highly anticipated release remains to be limited online, but fans already have their theories and predictions about the new title.

The are a lot to be excited about the "Final Fantasy 7" remake. As University Herald reported, game producer Yoshinori Kitasi recently teased that the new game's battle system will somehow be similar to that of "Kingdom Hearts 3." Kitasi shared that the remake will an active dynamic instead of a turn-based system.

Apart from the new battle system, the "Final Fantasy 7" remake will reportedly be a multi-part series game. It has been speculated that there will be three installments for the remake, with each part being a full scale game.

Meanwhile fans have started to predict the "Final Fantasy 7" remake release date. In a Reddit forum, one excited fan claimed that a 2018 launch for the first installment could be highly probable, with the 2nd and 3rd parts coming in November 2019 and November 2020. The fan further speculated that Square Enix will be very busy with "Kingdom Hearts 3" so having a later release for the remake could be underway.

In addition, the fan speculated that Square Enix might want to cash in on the hype, making a farther release date more appealing from a marketing standpoint. Ultimately, the fan suggested that the "Final Fantasy 7" remake could be launched anytime from September-November 2018.
