The most notable of the Gen 2 introductions is the release of 100 new Pokemon to be released into the world to be captured by the players. The Generation 2 of "Pokemon GO" would not just release new monsters. It also would have baby Pokemon and new evolutions for Gen 1 creatures.

It is anticipated that in Generation 2 "Pokemon GO," players would be able to hatch baby Pokemon, such as Pikachu's baby brother, Pichu. Niantic is yet to release an official statement on the baby Pokemon. However, there is a good chance that "Pokemon GO" would introduce them once the game explores Pokemon breeding.

"Pokemon GO" Generation 2 - Legacy Evolutions. Generation 2 has another new aspect in its bag. This involves the introduction of new evolution lines for the game's original monsters. Thus, once the Pokemon Gen 2 update gets released, players can evolve the Pokemon that they have.
