'Pokemon Go' News: Buddy Update Out Now, Game Lets Players Walk Around With One Of Pokemon Monsters

"Pokemon Go" has released a new update called the Buddy update and it lets players of the game walk around with one of the Pokemon monsters they caught. The update is available both on the iOS- and Android-run devices.

Game Spot reported that once the Buddy feature for "Pokemon Go" will be downloaded, the players will be able to choose one of their Pokemons to be their buddy called the PokeBud. Once the monster is chosen, "Pokemon Go" players will be able to earn candies if they walk with the chosen Pokemon character for the Buddy update. These candies could be used for evolving other monsters in a player's inventory.

Aside from the Buddy system update, other bugs have been fixed. In the latest version of "Pokemon Go," Engadget reported that jailbroken devices have been kicked out of the game. This would eliminate bots and other hacked "Pokemon Go" accounts in order to not let the players continue to cheat as they hunt for Pokemon monsters.

The latest update might have decreased the number of "Pokemon Go" players even more but the creator of the game, Niantic Labs, is sticking with their promise that they will be banning cheaters.

Another bug that was fixed is the eggs disappearing from the accounts of "Pokemon Go Players." The eggs have hatched but the players of "Pokemon Go" have not been alerted thus the notion that the eggs have disappeared.

It is noticeable that there have been lesser number of people playing "Pokemon Go." A recent study stated that the population of the people playing the game has dropped by 79 percent since it has become a hit months ago. Despite this, it has been announced that the "Pokemon Go Plus" accessory was still given a green light. The "Pokemon Go Plus" accessory could be used by players to play the game via the device and not directly from the phone.

"Pokemon Go Plus" will be released next week. It will also be played via the Apple Watch by the end of the year.
