Finland may require their students to start education a few years later compared to other countries but delayed education provides positive benefits for the students.

"We believe children under seven are not ready to start school," Franzenia Daycare Center head Tiina Marjoniemi stated during an interview. "They need time to play and be physically active. It's a time for creativity."

It was highlighted that the Finnish early education is more focused on the child's well-being. Finland is more focused the child's health and enforcing positive welling being for them to have better social skills before starting regular school.
