Brangelina Divorce News: Is Brad Pitt A Bad Dad? Child Abuse Reason For Divorce?

Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie being the sexiest couple of Hollywood are fighting for divorce with allegations on Pitt for verbally and physically abusive to children on a private airline.

The incident occurred on September 14 when the family were on a private plane and landed at an airport in Minnesota. It has been speculated that this caused the couple to separate the very next day and file for a divorce on Monday.

A source close to the actor said to Page Six, "He was never physically abusive to her or the kids. He did yell at one of their children on the plane during an argument, but he didn't hit the child. Brad is denying claims of inappropriate behavior."

According to Radar Online, Pitt's pal claimed that his wife Jolie - mother of their six children is waging a nasty campaign against him for personal reasons and not just because she is interested in the safety of the kids.

"Angelina is putting out (the abuse) story to take the kids away from him," the source told Page Six.

The Los Angeles Police Department was claimed to be investigating the issue however, LAPD has denied it. And under California law, the Los Angeles County Department of Children and Family Services cannot confirm or deny anything.

"LAPD is not handling any report or allegations into child abuse against Brad Pitt," public information Officer Jenny Houser told USA TODAY

"The law does not allow us to confirm or deny the subjects or content of our investigations," children's services spokesman Armand Montiel told USA TODAY.

There were also speculations that Brangelina case was referred to the FBI because they allegedly took place in the air while the family was flying from France to the U.S.

"The FBI is continuing to gather facts and will evaluate whether an investigation at the federal level will be pursued," FBI spokeswoman Laura Eimiller said to USA TODAY.
