Angelina Jolie And Brad Pitt Divorce Update: What Does Selena Gomez Have To Do With The Brangelina Divorce?

Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie made the headlines after it was confirmed that the couple filed for divorce. Though Marion Cotillard was previously being dragged to the couple's divorce, the latest update reveals that Selena Gomez might has something to do with the split.

One of Hollywood's A-List couple called it quits after 13 years of being together. Parent Herald reports that Angelina Jolie filed divorce on Monday, September 20. There are several speculations as to why the couple ended their relationship, but the infidelity claims shocked the headlines.

Actress Marion Cotillard was first dragged into the divorce speculations, which she boldly slammed. As the rumors progressed, another Hollywood personality was linked with Brad Pitt.

Daily News reports that Selena Gomez could potentially be in the midst of the couple's crumbling relationship. The speculations emerged after Selena Gomez fuzzed over Brad Pitt during the Golden Globes.

"Yeah, so I was in my dressing room and I had just finished performing. They knocked on my door and they said Brad Pitt would like to come in and I was like, 'He can come in.' I was trying to play cool and be really nice," Selena Gomez told Ellen DeGeneres during her interview. "As soon as he walked out I ran and I hide under the craft service table for like two minutes because I couldn't believe it was happening."

Selena Gomez made the headlines, but her reps have kept their mum in regards to the issue. The singer is currently taking a break from the limelight to focus on her health.

Selena Gomez may have shied away from the limelight due to her lupus but it was speculated that the singer-actress is struggling with drug addiction. Parent Herald reported that Selena Gomez is hooked on medications, which prompted her to take a break to focus on both her physical and mental health.
