The fans have been eagerly waiting for the next expansion: the "Kombat Pack 3." However, there are no official announcements that were made for the "Mortal Kombat X: Kombat Pack 3."

After the "Mortal Kombat X" was released in 2015, there have been two Kombat Packs that were launched. Each of the launched Kombat Pack contains four new playable characters. Because of these updates, the "Mortal Kombat X" has eight new characters. However, the players are eager for more. They want more new characters and improvements in the game, reported Movie News Guide.

There are reports that Ed Boon, the co-creator of the game "Mortal Kombat X," teased the fans by posting a meme on its Twitter account. This post revealed that the game is coming up with the "Mortal Kombat X" Kombat Pack 3. Along with this, there will also be other versions that include "Mortal Kombat XL."

However, there are reports which dampen the excitement of the fans. It is said that the "Mortal Kombat X" Kombat Pack 3 might be delayed because NetherRealm Studios has other priorities. The upcoming downloadable content for the "Mortal Kombat X" might also include additional characters like Noob Saibot, Rain, Baraka, Sindel and Fujin. Baraka is a known crossbreed warrior of the denizens of Outworld and demons of Netherealm who served the great Emperor Shao Kahn.
