Little Hairy Baby Boy: Bouffant Haired 9-Week-Old Little Boy Mobbed By Passersby In UK

Junior Cox-Noon, a 9-week-old baby boy from Brighton, United Kingdom, has been always mobbed by passersby in the street, supermarket or anywhere he goes because of his bouffant hair, which seems unusual for a baby. Although unusual for the mother Chelsea Noon, 32, she does not have a plan to cut it.

Babies are normally born with less hair right? With Junior Cox-Noon, it's different. Born in Brighton General Hospital on July 30 weighing 10 lbs, the head turner baby has so much hair that he has been named with a nickname "Baby Bear," as per MailOnline.

Even his mom, Chelsea, was shocked with his son's appearance. "He came out with loads of hair," Chelsea said to MailOnline. She added that she did not realize how much hair his son had until she gave her son his first bath.

Doctors and midwives told Chelsea that Junior's bouffant hair would likely fall out, according to MailOnline. However, it turns out the other way around.

She told MailOnline that all the midwives and health doctors said it would fall out because baby hair usually comes out when they rub their head on the back of the cot. His son, though, has not lost any hair and it has even grown.

Now, everybody who sees the little boy stops and says something about his bouffant hair, Chelsea said to the Mirror. "Everyone stops and says: 'Oh my god look at the baby's hair,' and then the next person will say: 'He's got so much hair'," she relayed to the Mirror. She also added that it normally takes her about 40 minutes to do her weekly shop in Asda but now it takes her two hours.

Chelsea, former hairdresser, blow dries his son's loads of hair in order to attain his ever-popular bouffant hairdo as she does not want to cut it, Today Parents reports. The report also says that when Junior is not being mobbed, he is usually just hanging out with his older brothers Preston and Mitchell.

What could be the reason for the little boy's bouffant hair? As of a 2007 research by John Hopkins University in the United States, heartburn during pregnancy may mean a greater likelihood a baby will have a lot of hair. Some news reported that Chelsea had a serious heartburn when she was pregnant with Junior.
