Actress Reveals Sexual Assault Experience Amidst Trump’s Controversial Statement – Beware For Devastating Effects Beware!

Actress and author Amber Tamblyn revealed a sexual assault experience amid the controversial statement of the Republican Party nominee Donald Trump, about how he treats women, Sunday. The experience was already nerve-wracking, but what was worse was the aftermath.

Trump, who's running for the position of United States' President, was caught on tape saying how he gets attracted to beautiful women and just starts kissing them. He also said that he didn't have to wait because if you're a star, you can do anything - even grab their private part, Scary Mommy reported.

Tamblyn revealed the effects of the sexual assault experience was done by her ex-boyfriend. In her Instagram account, she said that the thing that Trump likes to grab a woman by, was bruised from her former lover's assault for at least the next week, which made it difficult for her to wear jeans.

U.S. Deparment of Veterans Affairs published an article in the Public Section for Veterans, General Public, Family and Friends, defining sexual assault as any sort of sexual activity between two or more people in which one is involved against his or her will. According to statistics, there are 288,820 victims - whom are 12 years and older - of rape and sexual assault each year in the United States.

Tamblyn said she remembered the shame. It came to no surprise because one of the psychological effects of sexual assault is, in fact, shame incorporated by guilt.

Following a sexual assault, the victim may also show signs of Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder or PTSD, which includes emotional detachment, sleep disturbances, flashbacks and mental replay of the assault. Victims may also engage in high-risk sexual behaviors as a result of the violence.

In addition, sexual assault experience may also have negative social impacts to the victims, such as isolation and strained family relationships. The U.S. Centers for Disease Controls Prevention reported that individuals who experienced sexual assault may engage in harmful substances, unhealthy diet routine, delinquency and criminal behaviors.
