New Mexico Mother Admitted Watching Daughter Being Raped Because She Enjoyed It, Even Managed To Have Dinner With The Rapist & Killer After The Crime

A New Mexico mother reportedly admitted to officials that she watcher her daughter being raped as it brought enjoyment to her. She also confessed that she had dinner with the man who killed her daughter right after the crime was committed.

The 10-year-old girl was drugged, raped, killed and then dismembered. Allegedly, the child's mother had different versions of what happened but eventually confessed to witnessing the crime. The mother, Michelle Martens, first went over to a neighbor's house in Albuquerque, New Mexico in the morning of August 24, People reported. She was covered in blood and screaming that someone killed her daughter identified as Victoria.

A neighbor called 911 and said that she was woken up by the screaming and that Martens, together with her boyfriend, Fabian Gonzales, asked for help. The couple also claimed that the cousin of Gonzales, Jessica Kelley, killed Victoria. Nevertheless, when police officials came, they became doubtful of the statements of Martens as she changed her story a couple of times. She was then interrogated and hours after, she told the investigators what really took place.

The first story of Martens was that Kelley went into their bedroom, asked her if she believed in God, then hit her with an iron rod. She added that when she went out to ask for help, she heard Kelley said that Victoria is dead. However, she changed her story again saying that she left her daughter with Kelley at home and when they came back, she found her daughter dead, Yahoo reported. On the third time she was asked, police told Martens that Gonzales had revealed the truth even though he had not and that was when she cooperated with the officials.

Martens told investigators that she watched both Gonzales and Kelley sexually assault her daughter at least three times before she was killed. She added that she believed Gonzales sexually assaulted her daughter for a month before she died while she was at work. Martens said that on the day Victoria was killed, she saw Gonzales and Kelly give meth to the girl because it calms her down so they can rape her.

She then saw Gonzales and Kelley stab her daughter and cut her arms. About 20 minutes after Victoria was raped and killed, Gonzales and Martens had sexual intercourse. They then cleaned the home and made dinner.

Two more men were named by Martens that she reportedly sought to have sex with her daughter. They have not been named yet.

Martens also told investigators that she should have stopped what Gonzales and Kelley did to her child. Martens is charged with kidnapping and child abuse resulting to death, and Gonzales is charged with the same as Martens plus child rape, while Kelley has been charged with the same charges as Gonzales. They have all pleaded not guilty.
