Geri Halliwell On Being Pregnant With Her Second Baby At 44

Singer Geri Halliwell-Horner took to Instagram her announcement of her new baby on the way through a picture she posted on Oct. 10. The former Spice Girls member is also happily married to Formula 1 boss, Christian Horner. This is the couple's first child.

In an article published by People, for Geri Halliwell, although this is the first child she is having with now-husband Horner, this also happens to be her second baby. Halliwell, who is also known as Ginger Spice from the hit 90's girl band, Spice Girls, had her first child ten years ago from her previous relationship. Her daughter, Bluebell Madonna, will no longer be the couple's only child.

According to Mirror, Halliwell has been looking forward to having another baby for a long time now as she lost her hope for having one. Lots of people say including the ones in the medical field that it is almost impossible for her to get pregnant again knowing that she is already 44.

It is a good thing that she married Horner in May of 2015 because her dream of having another child in her mid-40s is about to come true. The soon-to-be mom of two is excited for this new chapter of her life that she captioned her Instagram post saying, "God bless Mother Nature," followed by the drawing of a pregnant woman.

Gerri Halliwell married her husband, Christian Horner, in England with Emma Bunton, as one of the celebrity guests. She wore a beautiful gown designed by Phillipa Lepley. The couple arrived in such fashionable cars as well, as Ginger Spice used a Roll Royce while Horner came using another vintage car, a 1965 Aston Martin.
