Ben Affleck & Jennifer Garner Divorce: It Couple Separating After 10 Years -- Details Here!

There have been rumors that Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garners' marriage was not doing well for quite some time. The couple ended the speculations on Tuesday when they announced that they already agreed to put an end to their much talked about marriage.

They faced People together in a joint statement and revealed, "After much thought and careful consideration, we have made the difficult decision to divorce. We go forward with love and friendship for one another and a commitment to co-parenting our children whose privacy we ask to be respected during this difficult time. This will be our only comment on this private, family matter. Thank you for understanding."

Affleck, 42, and Garner, 43, tried to make their marriage work despite their differences.

In an interview for InStyle Magazine's cover story for October 2014, Garner shared that her relationship with Affleck is no longer in the courting stage, but they are "mindful" of their relationship. They exert effort to be around for each other, to do things at the same time and to be loving, People reports.

People also notes that the "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" star told Playboy in 2013 how his wife has been so supportive of him. "Getting to know her, falling in love with her and being connected with her gave me a foundation to reach out and say, 'Okay, I'm going to do Hollywoodland. I'm going to direct Gone Baby Gone,'" Affleck said in his interview.

Garner responded in her 2013 interview with InStyle Magazine, "We both know we couldn't do what we do without each other. He has been amazing at finding ways of telling me how much he appreciates what I do. Honestly, I would do anything for that man, because I know it's not to be taken for granted."

In another report from People, the couple was spotted earlier last month with their children in the Palisades Farmer's Market, both looking unhappy and were quiet the whole time. The source said that the two look like they were only trying to be together for their kids.

In March, Garner supported Affleck during the congressional hearing when the latter made his case for foreign aid and discussed the Eastern Congo Initiative, an advocacy he founded that concentrates on helping communities in the African country. However, a source revealed that the couple spent the last several months apart.

The issues about their marriage come and go, but after one controversy, they will be seen together brushing it off. Their announcement only shows that the two were too tired to keep on trying.

The couple has been together for a decade with three children, Violet, 9, Serafina, 6, and Samuel, 3. Their announcement was made a day after their 10th wedding anniversary, OK! Magazine reports.
