Selma Blair Apologizes After Alcohol Medication Pill Taken On Route To LA

Selma Blair publicly apologized to the crew and passengers the episode she had last July inside a plane where she had to be taken off in a stretcher. While on route from Cancun to LA, Selma started screaming about being physically abused by a man.

She sincerely thanked her fans in an Instagram post for their love and forgiveness. It was reported that Selma mixed alcohol and a medication pill while in mid-air causing her psychotic outbreak.

According to People, Selma Blair, 44, was removed from the plane and rushed to the hospital in an international flight touchdown. The "Hellboy" actress, her son Arthur Saint Bleick, and ex-partner Jason Bleick were celebrating Father's Day in Mexico when the incident happened.

Witnesses reported that Selma Blair and her family were seated in the first class section and decided to have a glass of wine when Selma burst out crying: "He burns my private parts. He won't let me eat or drink. He beats me. He's going to kill me," Two nurses from the plane suggested taking the actress to the hospital when the plane lands. She had a total blackout and desperately cried the whole flight.

"I am someone who should never drink and I rarely do and I don't drink anymore, but I did," Selma Blair said in an interview with The Talk host Sharon Osbourne. Selma added, "I was going through something. I had a glass of wine, someone gave me a pill that I thought was something that I had taken before, which I don't take on a regular basis."

The "People v OJ Simpson" actress expressed that she made "a very bad choice and I had a total psychotic blackout."
