‘Pokémon GO’ Guide & Update: Fifth Nest Migration Occurs; What Spawns Changed Recently?

"Pokémon GO" changes nests every now and then. When nest migrations happen, "Pokémon GO" users will be unable to find Pokémon at the same nest they usually flock to. Just recently, players found that a fifth nest migration took place across the globe on October 20.

Though plenty of "Pokémon GO" nests have migrated, there are nests that remained in the same location, according to The Silph Road's Reddit page. It's challenging to know what nest migrations occurred without going out and exploring the community, so it's helpful for other "Pokémon GO" players to share their experiences and point users to the new nest locations.

The first nest migration in "Pokémon GO" happened on July 29, 2016. That was followed by nest migrations on August 22, September 16, and October 8, Pokémon GO Pocket listed.

Abra's "Pokémon GO" nest has changed into a Vulpix nest, Bulbasaur into Squirtle, Caterpie into Jynx, and Charmander into Electabuzz and Vulpix. Clefairy's nest now contains Pikachu. Exeggcute's nest now has Drowzee, Electabuzz, and Rhyhorn.

A Ghastly nest in "Pokémon GO," meanwhile, has changed into Tentacool. Growlithe's nest now contains Magmar and Psyduck, while Kabuto's nest now has Growlithe spawns. Nagmar's nest now contains Omanyte and Omanyte's nest has recently changed into Goldeen.

Onix's nest in "Pokémon GO" has changed into Bulbasaur, Pinsir's into Machop, Rattata into Pidgey, Sandshrew into Jynx, and Scyther into Staryu. Seel's "Pokémon GO" nest has changed into Psyduck, while Squirtle's now contains Pinsir spawns.

Magikarp nests in "Pokémon GO" now contain SlowPoké and Clefairy. Drowzee nests have changed into Nidoran's (F), Pokémon GO Pocket reported.

Niantic recently rolled out huge updates to "Pokémon GO" aside from the new nest migrations. Those updates include a catch bonus for capturing the same Pokémon type and a revamped Gym training experience, Parent Herald previously reported. "Pokémon GO" users can now bring six Pokémon to battle at friendly Gyms.

Other notable updates in "Pokémon GO" are changes to Egg and Incubator screens, a shorter evolution animation time, and improved audio. Some minor fixes have been added to the game as well.

The "Pokémon GO" Plus accessory also saw updates recently, according to a separate report from Parent Herald. The accessory now has multiple notification modes that allow players to choose if they want to receive notifications for only Pokémon, PokéStops, or both.
