‘Once Upon A Time Season 6 Episode 5 Street Rats’ Recap: The Path of A Savior

"Once Upon A Time" fans got to know more about Princess Jasmin and Aladdin in last night's episode "Street Rats". "Once Upon A Time" Season 6 Episode 5 continues with Jasmine's search for Aladdin and flashbacks of their story in Agrabah. Where has the path of a Savior taken Aladdin?

"Once Upon A Time" Street Rats episode starts in Agrabah years ago. Princess Jasmine asks the street rat Aladdin to help her defeat Jafar through stealing the "diamond in the rough". Once in the Cave of Wonders, it was revealed that the "diamond in the rough" was really Aladdin, who was introduced in the "Once Upon A Time" Season 6 premiere episode as a Savior, according to Entertainment Weekly.

Continuing on Once Upon A Time, Evil Jafar later finds Aladdin showing him that he is doomed to die if he continues the path of a savior. He tells Aladdin that he could avoid that through using magic scissors to "cut" his Savior destiny, according to TVLine.

Later in "Once Upon A Time", Jasmine was to be buried alive in sand in a giant hourglass by Jafar when Aladdin arrives and saves her sending Jafar out of the palace. He asks Jasmine to come with him and finish off Jafar but she refused, leaving Aladdin to walk away with a sad look on his face.

Back at Storybooke, Emma was forced by the Evil Queen in guise as Archie to reveal her secret to her family. Afterward in the "Once Upon A Time" episode, she finds Aladdin and he reveals that he used the magic scissors causing the fall of Agrabah. He then fled to the Enchanted Forest and have been living in Storybooke since.

Aladdin gives the magic scissors to Emma and, after some pushing, he decided to face Jasmine. At the Charmings', Emma shares with them the scissors and asks Hook to keep it for her. The "Once Upon A Time" Street Rats episode ends at the docks with Hook telling Emma that he hid the scissors under the sea but was later shown having the scissors with him.
