'Westworld' Spoilers, News & Update: Bernard Is An Android?

HBO's "Westworld" has been getting a lot of fanbase as it is one of the more popular sci-fi series in the network. "Westworld," tells the story of the interaction between humans and robots, much like many other popular movies such as iRobot and Terminator.

One of the more popular fan theories that have come up very recently would be the theory of Bernard being a host. Many fans have already concluded that Bernard is human because of his apparent strong emotions with regard to his son and his son's mother, Gina Torress. However, according to Vanity Fair, this could be all a ruse or a made up story.

However, excluding that point, fans have been dropping many hints about Bernard's identity in "Westworld". Romper cues the fans of "Westworld" in on a few. The first one is where Ford tells Bernard that he knows how Bernard's brain works. This could give a hint that Ford created Bernard as a unique host which is why he knew how Bernard thinks. Bernard is will still be oblivious to this if it is true.

Another hint is found in one of the more romantic scenes wherein Theresa Cullen asks Bernard how come hosts are talking all the time. Bernard replies that they are just practicing and Theresa quips back by asking Bernard if he is practicing too. This can be interpreted as an indication that Theresa knows that Bernard is actually a host, which is why she asks him if he is also practicing.

The last hint that completely convinces fans would be how respectful Bernard is to the hosts. This could be because they are of the same kind which is why Bernard has extra preferential treatment toward them.
