2-Year-Old Toddler Killed By Stray Bullet While In Mom’s Arms

A 2-year-old baby boy, Braydon Graff, died tragically in his mom's arm after a stray bullet hit him which has first entered through his mom's hand. The little boy, though rushed to the hospital, found dead on arrival.

Rostan and his baby boy Braydon were about to see Braydon's father on Saturday night. Few minutes after the two left their house, three gunshots broke out in Robinvale, Atlantis. Alarmed by the incident, she then ran back into their house carrying her 2-year-old son and shouting that the toddler had been hit.

Rostan told the Daily Voice that she ran for cover, not realizing she and her son had been shot. She added with tears going down her cheeks that she only noticed it when the toddler said "eina mommy" (pain mommy) and then she felt the blood flowing down her body and she just ran for home.

Because no car was found at the crime scene, a neighbor took the victim and rushed him to the Wesfleur Hospital which is nearly 45 minutes away. However, he did not make it to the hospital. The 2-year-old was already dead even before he arrived at the hospital.

The mom described his son as a sweet, innocent child who loved playing with other kids, and everywhere the child is seen he was holding the hands of some other kids while singing "I love you, you love me. " Rostan added that her little boy was a very lovable child.

Police said that the child was a victim of a war gang shootout between the 28s and Americans gangs. The child was released from the hospital earlier on Sunday and the devastated family of the 2-year-old victim gathered around a sorrowing mother.

Meanwhile, the authorities have found and arrested three men responsible for killing Braydon. "Investigations into the circumstances of the murder and attempted murder led to the arrest of three male suspects aged between 20 and 30 and once charged, they will make an appearance," Eyewitness News quoted police Andre Traut as stating.
