And here below are 10 Wonder Foods according to Forrest.

Antioxidant foods are critical to fighting cancer. Tomatoes and Garlic are among the best choices to take. These two are perfect along with the regular intake of green tea.

Tomatoes have the powerful antioxidant lycopene, which has been clinically proven to vigorously help reduce high blood pressure, heart disease and cholesterol. Tomatoes' lycopene is best absorbed when they are cooked, crushed or eaten with a little fat like olive oil or flax oil.

Garlic contains vitamins and antioxidants that are good for the heart. It has Allicin that fight against heart disease and can lower cholesterol and high blood pressure at the same time.

Green tea, of course, has antioxidant effects and can improve the health of the cell lining of blood vessels as well. It is, therefore, great for fighting heart disease.

The heart needs to be treated well. It has to be protected from harmful diseases that can actually be fought by taking Omega 3 rich foods like Oily fish along with lycopene-rich ones like grapefruit. Oily fish like salmon, mackerel, and sardines are rich in Omega 3, and so they are an excellent source of selenium, vitamin D, and protein. Aside from the protection from heart disease, oily fish also has an anti-clotting effect, which is good to have better blood flowing.

Grapefruit is packed with vitamin C, fiber, choline, and lycopene. It is good at balancing blood lipid levels, specifically triglycerides, which when in excess is said to harden artery walls.

Oats, like the grapefruit, are also rich in a fiber called beta-glucan, which is said to reduce bad cholesterol effectively. And speaking of cholesterol, it is best to include Avocado in the diet as well.

Avocados have high levels of vitamin B6 thus making it really beneficial to regulate hormones. These are also among the richest sources of vitamin E and monosaturated fats that fight bad cholesterol.

Sugar and blood pressure need to be regulated. Cinnamon has a powerful anti-diabetic effect as it helps in balancing blood sugar. It also helps in lowering blood pressure and cholesterol and also good at preventing degenerative diseases such as cancer and Alzheimer's.

Here's the best treat here. The Dark chocolates. These have Phenethylamine, which is the chemical produced in the brains when falling in love. It is best in fighting fatigue, anxiety, and depression. Dark chocolates are also good at restoring energy levels.

Lastly, it is important to have a reduced amount of Salt in the diet. Too much salt is the culprit to heart disease.
