‘Pokémon GO’ Update: Daily Quests Confirmed? More Exciting Details About Halloween Event Surface

Niantic continues to roll out updates for "Pokémon GO" to lure players back into the game and give them a fresh experience. A new and exciting feature is probably coming to "Pokémon GO" in a future update that will give bonuses that weren't there before.

Data miners from Pokémon GO Hub found a hex code for Daily Quests shown in the latest "Pokémon GO" update (0.43.3 for Android and 1.13.3 for iOS). With this code, there will be three possible daily quests for players: First Catch of the Day, First PokéStop of the Day, and a still Unknown quest.

It's still unknown what kind of rewards "Pokémon GO" players would get for completing a Daily Quest but the hex code mentioned an incubator. The code also suggests that "Pokémon GO" trainers will be introduced to Streaks or being able to complete multiple Daily Quests consecutively for potential bonuses aside from the standard rewards.

The "Pokémon GO" hex code mentioned both a Current Streak Count and a Current Period Bucket defined as "the currently active questing period." Though Niantic hasn't announced Daily Quests thus far, the important code to activate the feature is already present in the game, suggesting that Daily Quests could be introduced any time. BGR speculated that Niantic could roll out Daily Quests after the in-game Halloween event.

The global "Pokémon GO" Halloween event runs from Oct. 26 to Nov. 1 and offers double Candy rewards and more Ghost Pokémon spawns for players. True enough, seven Ghost Pokémon (Gastly, Haunter, Gengar, Zubat, Golbat, Drowzee, and Hypno) started to appear more in the wild since the Halloween event began.

"Pokémon GO" trainers found that there is an abundance of Cubones, Marowaks, and Meowths as well. The number of those Pokémon spawns has risen from seven to ten.

For the "Pokémon GO" Halloween event, Niantic made Halloween-inspired changes to the game's loading screen's design. The update may be minor but it gets "Pokémon GO" trainers into the Halloween spirit.

Folks from Reddit's The Silph Road community confirmed that Pokémon catches, transfers, and hatches will reward players with double Candy amounts. However, the same reward isn't offered for evolving a Pokémon. In addition, "Pokémon GO" players can attract more Halloween monsters via Lures and Incense, but regular Pokémon still spawn at their known nests.

These new "Pokémon GO" features are exciting but players are still waiting for other features including trading, face-to-face battles outside Gyms, and the introduction of Ditto, Legendary Pokémon, and Generation 2 Pokémon, Mic listed. Players also want new variations on Lures, Incense, and other items.
