'Better Call Saul Season' 3 Air Date, Spoilers, News & Update: Is 'Breaking Bad' Star Gus Fring Joining The Cast?

The cameras are already rolling for "Better Call Saul" season 3 and more spoilers are coming out as the production progress. Fans can expect another crossover as another character from "Breaking Bad" has been hinted to show up in "Better Call Saul" season 3.

A lot of fans are excited about the arrival of "Breaking Bad" Gus Fring (played by Giancarlo Esposito) in the upcoming "Better Call Saul" season 3, but reports could not pinpoint the timetable for his appearance. However, a recent interview seems to tease about this anticipated Gus Fring in "Better Call Saul."

At the book signing tour of the author and "Breaking Bad" Bryan Cranston (playing the role of Walter White), the actor revealed during a Q&A that he has been to the set of "Better Call Saul" season 3. Cranston also mentioned that he has learned a significant spoiler for the third season of "Better Call Saul" from his recent visit on the location shoot, Screencrush reported.

Cranston dropped a hint on the new cast who will crossover to "Better Call Saul" season 3. Cranston said, "Another new character coming on the show that you will recognize." The publication noted that it would be too premature to expect Cranston's character, Walter White, to show up in "Better Call Saul" season 3, so aside from him, another major character from "Breaking Bad" will hop in at "Better Call Saul" season 3.

Although it would be so easy to presume that Cranston was referring to Gus Fring, the former quickly noted that it will not be the latter. Cranston clarified that he is not confirming Gus Fring to appear at "Better Call Saul" season 3. The actor also emphasized that it is neither Jesse Pinkman (played by Aaron Paul). Then who will be the next "Breaking Bad" star to arrive at "Better Call Saul" season 3?

Moreover, the publication mentioned that Cranston might possibly direct one of the episodes of "Better Call Saul" season 3.

Meanwhile, in the said book signing tour, Cranston has also expressed his willingness to join "Better Call Saul" season 3. The actor said that he talked with Vince Gilligan and inform the latter that he will be there if they want him on the  show, Paste Magazine noted.

"Better Call Saul" season 3 is expected to premiere in early 2017.
