Maria Carey, James Packer Split: Couple Still Together? Engagement Continues Or Called Off?

Conflicting reports about the real status of the relationship of Mariah Carey and her billionaire fiancé James Packer have exploded. Accordingly, the businessman dumped her after they had a huge fight while vacationing in Greece.

US Weekly reported that the diva and the businessman called off their engagement after not seeing each other since their huge fight in Greece. The fight was reportedly not due to cheating allegations of the excessive spending of Mariah Carey.

The real reason for the fight was not released by the sources supposedly close to Mariah Carey and James Packer. Reports are claiming that James Packer did something really bad but and it accordingly involves the assistant of Mariah Carey. The 49-year-old businessman is said to be the one who ended the relationship and dumped Mariah Carey.

Other reports are claiming that James Packer and Mariah Carey have ended their relationship because of her E! reality show entitled "Mariah's World." James Packer reportedly had some doubts regarding the reality show because it would expose their private lives. It is unclear if "Mariah's World" will still push through with the release date this December 4, ABC News reported.

An insider added that James Packer and Mariah Carey, who have gotten together last year months after the diva and Nick Cannon ended their marriage, are trying to work things out but they are not yet sure if they are to stay together. James Packer and Mariah Carey are said to be discussing where their relationship will go from here. James Packer proposed to Mariah Carey with a 35-carat engagement ring in January in New York City.

James Packer and Mariah Carey were first spotted in June 2015 in Capri Italy. The couple has gone to trips with Mariah's twin children with Nick Cannon.

Amid the split reports, Mariah Carey spent Halloween with her two children and ex-husband earlier this week. She also canceled her upcoming South American tour dates for her "Sweet Sweet Fantasy Tour."
