"Girl Meets World" Season 3 cancellation news are heating up online, as Disney Channel remains mum about the fate of the show beyond its third season. Spoilers for the upcoming episodes of the show were posted by the show's writers on Twitter.

In the said "GMW" Season 3 episode, Riley (Rowan Blanchard) and her mom will be fighting over something. In another episode, Maya (Sabrina Carpenter) is said to be kidnapping a movie star.

While the aforementioned synopses for "Girl Meets World" Season 3 do not seem to make sense to some, fans expressed their thoughts on the show's plot. Some shared their disappointment with the pairings on the series.

It can be recalled that "Girl Meets World" Season 3 provided resolution to the love triangle between Riley, Maya and Lucas (Peyton Meyer). In the end, it was the "Rucas" 'ship that sailed and not the "Lucaya" or "Riarkle" 'ship.

Fans hoped that "Girl Meets World" Season 3 will be renewed for another season, but with a different pairing. As M Magazine notes in its report, fans even created several manips of the stars of the Disney series.

Some of the manips features Peyton with Sabrina aka "Peybrina" while some feature Rowan with Peyton aka "Reyton." This just goes to show how invested fans are in the characters that they hope to see the stars date in real life.
