'Longmire' Season 6 Renewal Update: 'We Are Waiting For Netflix To Confirm'

The official Twitter account of the Netflix show, "Longmire", posted the status of its upcoming season. The tweet confirmed "Longmire" season 6 production to materialize but only after Netflix gives its final say.

The previous season of "Longmire" left fans wanting for more. Supporters of the drama show, "Longmire" strongly believe that the show deserves to create and continue another season since Season 5 had lots of cliffhangers.

The Twitter post by @LongmirePosse may indicate the show's renewal but Netflix still has to release their official statement regarding the matter. To recall, the western crime drama, "Longmire", debuted in 2012 on A&E network. It was picked up by Netflix after its third season but despite the move, "Longmire" continued to gain high ratings and huge support from the viewers.

In our previous report, the "Longmire" season 6 plot will dig deeper into the last season's story. Although Dr. Donna interfered with Walt and Vic's love life in the preceding seasons, speculations about their romance have continued going around.

"Longmire" fans and viewers are thrilled to know what could happen in season 6, more so that Henry Standing Bear's fate is still unknown. Another rumor about Vic's pregnancy in "Longmire" season 6 has also surfaced.

According to Cartermatt, there is still no assurance for the show to be renewed by Netflix even if the executive producers of "Longmire" expressed their intent to continue season 6 production. Believing that the show needs a proper closure, "Longmire" fans are hoping that the network, as the great creative partner, would give the show a chance to end properly.
