‘The Blacklist’ Season 4 Cancellation: Ratings Bounce Back, Renews Hope For Renewal? Who’s In The Hospital In Episode 7? [SPOILERS]

After experiencing a continuous decline in ratings, "The Blacklist" Season 4 gains the most in week five in Live+3 adults 18-49. Will this pave the way for the show's renewal? Meanwhile, in the next episode, someone is in the hospital that made Liz, Tom and Harold worried. Who could it be?

"The Blacklist" has been in the list of the shows that are heading for cancellation. This is because of the continuous decline in its ratings, which is partly attributed to the change in its timeslot halfway in "The Blacklist" Season 2.

"The Blacklist" has been treading at around 1.2 and lower of Live+same-day ratings for four out of the current season's five episodes, as Parent Herald learned last week. However, new reports from TV By The Numbers By zap2it.com revealed that "The Blacklist" gained the most viewers in the Live+3 days of DVR and on-demand viewing during the week of Oct. 18-23. The show gained 3.91 million viewers, which is higher than the 3.77 million for "The Big Bang Theory" and 3.63 million for "This Is Us."

While the publication earlier predicted that "The Blacklist" has a 50-50 chance of getting renewed, the improvement in the ratings shows that the series remains popular among viewers. With its spin-off, "The Blacklist: Redemption," expected to premiere later in the 2016-2017 season, it is also hoped that the parent show will be able to hold on and bounce back even more.

Meanwhile, preview photos of "The Blacklist" Season 4 Episode 7 "Dr. Adrian Shaw" released by TV Fanatic, show the worried faces of Liz, Tom and Harold while they are in the hospital. Speculations are that the patient could be Alexander Kirk, as the synopsis teased about his health getting worse.

"The Blacklist" Season 4 Episode 7 preview photos show Tom and Liz waiting at the hospital with a worried look in their faces. Another photos show Liz peeking in the room, and then Harold receiving what doesn't look a good news from the doctor.

"The Blacklist" airs every Thursday at 10:00 p.m. on NBC.
