Many fans, however, expressed that the writers should not rush production of the show if it would greatly compromise the storyline. Therefore, they are completely fine if the show premieres in 2017 instead.

While many are becoming anxious over the "Rick and Morty" Season 3 return date, many fans are aware that producing a great show takes time. If there is any other good indication, however, it could be the fact that Guterman said that writing for the upcoming season is "officially done."
