Zynga CEO Frank Gibeau Update: Former EA Exec Said He Will Never Go Back: Find Out Why

Frank Gibeau is formerly an EA Studios Executive but transferred to Zynga and became the CEO. He was named CEO of the Farmville Company last March 2016.

After seven months of service as a board of director, Zynga announced that Gibeau is now the new CEO. According to Venturebeat, Gibeau said that he was done working on console and PC. He also added that he will never go back and he loves mobile business now. For him, it is more alluring than the console and PC.

It is true that in Smartphone's you will have a lot of audiences and the quantity of distribution is much bigger than console and PC. However, Zynga had a $14 million loss. Despite its loss, Zynga's earning increased unexpectedly.

It is more exciting in engaging business in mobile as it's a dynamic time. You only have to make brilliant ideas in engaging to customers. In mobile business, there may be a lot of different products that come on people's way, which means that those who were on the top will not stay there forever. It will never be the same company.

The former Zynga's CEO, Mark Pincus who is also the founder is now the executive chairman of the board. According to the Zynga's founder, it is more fun to play games with other people. If you want to enter mass market, social gaming is one of the best ways.

Gibeau was overwhelmed that Zynga reached an unexpected number of new consumers. He is also excited for the brand new gaming platforms. Zynga focuses now on the competition of the highest levels of mobile gaming which has become $34.8 billion industry.  

It is a big adjustment for Zynga as they are now creating mobile games in a more profitable way. Zynga announced that they set to launch 10 new games soon according to Gamespot.
