During the finale credits, Mr. Poopybutthole appeared and teased fans that it will take a year and a half before the "Rick and Morty" Season 3 release date. However, Inverse reports that the show's writers, Erica Rosbe and Sarah Carbiener, confirmed that the show would premiere before 2016 ends.

This made a lot of fans and viewers excited about "Rick and Morty" Season 3's return on Adult Swim. The show has been filled with a ton of theories, speculations and "Rick and Morty" Season 3 spoilers based on the events that took place in Season 2.

In the recently concluded Reddit AMA, "Rick and Morty" creator Dan Harmon squashed some popular fan theories about the show. As iDigitalTimes notes in its report, the series creator admitted that he did not have any favorite theories from the ones emerging online.

While this is the case, Harmon said that he salutes fans who tries to analyze every bit about "Rick and Morty" to come up with such theories such as Rick's disguise or the episodes being a simulation. Harmon also said that he does not have any idea about the air date for the show since this would come officially from Adult Swim.
