'The Big Bang Theory' Season 11 News, Updates: Penny And Leonard Out, Sheldon To Get Spin-off?

CBS is yet to announce the renewal of "The Big Bang Theory" season 11, but some are saying that if the series will be renewed, fan favorites Leonard Hofstadter (Johnny Galecki) and his wife Penny (Kaley Cuoco), will be written out of the series. Leonard and Penny's love story has been one of the main themes of the series, and there is no word on how the network will handle their exit from "TBBT" season 11.

The exit  is due to the fact that the two actors are reportedly asking for a raise in their salaries, as reported by Headlines and Global News. Galecki and Cuoco, along with Jim Parsons, comprise the main characters of "The Big Bang Theory," which has been airing since 2007.

Now on its tenth season, the three stars of "The Big Bang Theory" have become some of the highest-paid TV actors, being paid a whopping $1 million dollars per episode. But now that negotiations for their contracts are ongoing, Galecki and Cuoco are demanding for more than that amount.

The network might not be too keen to give in to their demands, so therefore the characters of Leonard and Penny might be taken out of the "The Big bang Theory" season 11. This will dismay some fans as the two have finally married in the tenth season premiere of "The Big Bang Theory."

Now another news is circulating, as Vanity Fair reports that the other main character, Dr. Sheldon Cooper, played by the talented Jim Parsons, will be having his own spin-off series. But this series will be different because it will be a prequel showing the young Sheldon Cooper, and not the one that fans see in "The Big Bang Theory."

The network seems to consider this move as it will be cheaper since new actors will be portraying the main roles, and although Jim Parsons might be invited to guest star, it will still not be as expensive as what "The Big Bang Theory" season 11 is looking to be.

Do you think that CBS will renew "The Big Bang Theory" season 11? Or will they opt for a spin-off prequel instead? Share your thoughts and comments below.
