LG G5 Gets Android Nougat 7.0 Update: How To Install [VIDEO]

LG G5 will receive the Android Nougat 7.0 update beginning from South Korea. LG V20 was the first smartphone to update Android Nougat even ahead of Google's Pixel series. Few more devices like Samsung and Motorola have updated their smartphones with Android Nougat 7.0 operating system.

South Korea has received the update yesterday, and the rest of the world will get the Nougat update this week for their LG G5 devices. According to reports from the Verge, Korean users did not find any technical errors, and the same is expected with other users in future.

LG G5 users will experience new specifications with the Android Nougat 7.0 update. LG G5 will now have a night mode, bundled notification, enhanced security update, improved battery optimization and multi-window options.

To install the Android 7.0 Nougat update, LG G5 users will receive a notification message when the update is ready. Once received follow the below-mentioned steps.

First, select "Yes, I'm in." After the software is downloaded, select "Install now." Once the software is installed, your phone will restart automatically. The phone is now updated.

LG G5 users who have not received a notification message for this update can manually update the phone. To do so, select the Settings icon in the apps menu. Then select "About phone" and then select "System updates."

Select "Yes, I'm in." Once the software is downloaded, select "Install now." After the software is installed, the device will restart automatically. LG G5 phone is now updated.

Reportedly, the OTA (over-the-air) process takes place in phases. It may take a week or more time to reach all the countries. It may reach Asian countries first followed by the United Kingdom and the United States. For more updates on games and gadgets stay tuned.
