'Kingdom Hearts 3' News And Update: Title To Feature A New Keyblade War; King Mickey And Riku With Bigger Roles?

Following the huge success of "Kingdom Hearts 2", Square Enix has been working on the sequel to the popular video game. "Kingdom Hearts 3" is in the works and is already almost ready for releasing.

According to Segment Next, the basic story plot has already been released. In "Kingdom Hearts 3", Sora is now already a grown up and the world has already fallen under the command of one master. Xehanort, who was one of the villains in the last "Kingdom Hearts" game manipulated the entire outcome of the battle between him and Sora in "Kingdom Hearts 2".

Due to this, "Kingdom Hearts 3" will see a new Keyblade war wherein the darkness will be taking over the world as it is. The quest of Sora now includes looking for the Seven Guardians of Light as they have the power to overcome the darkness.

Sora is once again accompanied by Donald as well as Goofy to seek the Key to the Hearts. In "Kingdom Hearts 3", King Mickey and Riku will also play a big role as they must find another older Keyblade holder.

The question now that most "Kingdom Hearts" fans would be asking would be if there are going to be any more new characters that will appear now that Disney has made a lot more movies. According to iDigitatimes, there are a few more worlds that have appeared since the last "Kingdom Hearts" game. Square Enix has already confirmed that there will be two new worlds in the "Kingdom Hearts 3" game. The first world would feature Rapunzel from "Tangled" and also Baymax from the movie "Big Hero 6". Other than that, there are no other confirmed new worlds for "Kingdom Hearts 3".

"Kingdom Hearts 3" will be released by Square Enix for the two consoles Xbox One and Playstation 4. No news about the release date has been revealed yet.
