According to Phone Arena, Samsung has sent out an update to commence with the Samsung Print Service tool for all of the Galaxy phones and models. This Samsung Print Service update adds support for over 88 million printers without the need for additional drivers and apps.

The Samsung Print Service update is rolling out automatically to the Galaxy S4, S5, S6 and S7. The rest of users who are owners of different Galaxy model must download the Samsung Print Service update through Google Play Store.

The Samsung Print Service opens up the entire Mopria Print Library collections for all users who wish to print something directly from their phones or tablets to any printing device. Samsung is a founding member of the Mopria Alliance, and with the latest Samsung Print Service update, users are then able to connect directly to all printers for documents, files and websites.

According to Matt Smith, the VP of Printing Solutions said that adding the Mopria Print Library to the Samsung Print Service is the latest effort and initiative in continued leadership within the Mopria Alliance to get rid of barriers users face when trying to print using multiple brands.

As added by Tech Weez, any recent Samsung smartphone running on Android 4.4 KitKat and later Android versions are able to download the Samsung Print Service through the Google Play Store. Also, the Samsung Print Service is meant to make it easier to print documents and other works from Samsung phone to a printer.

Samsung has been aggressively promoting its own Mobile Print app for wirelessly printing, copying, sending fax and scanning documents as well. This is something that promises ultimate convenience to all Samsung users. This update may even entice non-Samsung users to switch to experience the update.
