The Duggar Family News And Updates: Jim Bob And Michelle Duggar NOT Getting A Divorce Due To Financial Problems, Still Happily Married?

Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar are not getting a divorce contrary to the rumors that have been swirling lately. According to a source, the couple is still happily married and that the reports that they are divorcing due to financial troubles are not true.

Inquisitr reported that Jessa Duggar slammed the divorce reports saying that her parents are still very much together and in love. Divorce is also not something that the Duggar family will promote since they are known to be religious and that the marriage is being treated as sacred.

Christian Today reported that the rumors about the divorce of Michelle and Jim Bob Duggar started to surface earlier this week because of some problems they are facing. The family were once known for the hit reality series "19 Kids and Counting" but the scandal involving their oldest son Josh Duggar caused the family's TLC series to be cancelled and their fame and success to hit rock bottom. The family is still featured in TLC's special "Counting On."

According to reports, the financial troubles of the family drove Michelle Duggar and Jim Bob Duggar to decide to be divorced because the "Counting On" spinoff does not make as much money as their first reality TV series. Rumors have also surfaced saying that "Counting On" will not be having a third installment. Advertisers and financiers are not willing to link their brand to the Duggar family thus the low income coming from "Counting On," reports say.

It is believed that the second pregnancy of Jessa Duggar and the wedding of Jinger Duggar will be featured on "Counting On" Season 3 as Jim Bob Duggar hoped this would help with the popularity of the show. Jim Bob Duggar is reportedly hoping that the show would save the family's financial woes but if the show gets cancelled, the two might really get a divorce.
