"Suits" Season 6 is currently on a midseason break, but Deadline recently reported on the USA legal drama's return on Jan. 25. According to the publication, there will not be any time jump in Season 6B; instead, the story will pick up right where things left off in the midseason finale.

This means that fans and viewers will see the aftermath of Jessica's (Gina Torres) departure from Pearson Specter Litt in "Suits" Season 6B. Mike (Patrick J. Adams) will also have to decide whether he wants to return to the firm or pursue a different path.

The publication also noted on the show's renewal for "Suits" Season 7. While there have been rumors that Gabriel Macht will be leaving the show, reports state that all the major cast members will be back for the upcoming season.

While fans were able to let out a sigh of relief over this recent casting news, there is a possibility that "Suits" Season 7 will be the last. In a recent Q&A with series creator Aaron Korsh on Twitter, it was revealed that the showrunner already had an end in mind.

Korsh said that he is trying to get through "Suits" Season 6 for the meantime before proceeding to Season 7. However, he was not sure whether he still wants to continue doing the series beyond the seventh season.
