Tesla Model S News: This Child-Size Version Of The Tesla Unit Can Be The Perfect Holiday Gift For Kids

Finally, a Tesla any average-earning citizen can afford is finally available. But here's the catch — it is modeled down for kids and it can be as great as its original Tesla counterpart. The electric car company and Radio Flyer has collaborated for what can be the perfect Christmas gift for kids this year, a Tesla Model S kiddie version.

According to GQ Magazine, the company behind a plethora of toy car models has released a miniature version of the Tesla model. Just like its original version, the ride-on toy car is equipped with a powerful lithium-ion battery that is swift enough to charge — a great advantage for kids pestering to ride on it as much as possible.

Aside from its renowned battery system, Tesla Model S for kids also comes with a pair of working headlights, sound system and a trunk in front of the car. The boot's size is spacious enough to accommodate any kid's essentials and its interior is equally spacious as well.

The child-size Tesla Model S by Radio Flyer is also said to be perfect for kids three to seven years old and has a weight capacity of 81 lbs. So for parents dreaming of this electricity-powered ride, you might want to get your own Tesla unit but it will definitely require you a deep pocket.

Per Radio Flyer's official website, the Tesla Model S for kids comes in neat colors such as Pearl White Multicoat, Deep Blue Metallic, Red Multicoat and Midnight Silver Metallic. At best, it can run for six miles per hour. Parents can even have their kids name etched on its car plate, to give a personalized touch.

The Tesla Model S for kids was initially launched in May and it has been a great catch for car enthusiast parents who want to get hold of a Tesla unit. CEO of Tesla, Elon Musk, also approves of this scaled-down Tesla Model S.

CNN reports that a Tesla Model S can be bought at a starting price of $75,000. This kiddie car, meanwhile, can be at your hands for only $499.
