Dwayne Johnson News: ‘The Rock’ Snatches Title Form David Beckham And Named As People Magazines 2016 Sexiest Man Alive

Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson was hailed as 2016's sexiest man alive by People Magazine. The 44-year-old hottie snatches the title from football superstar David Beckham and stars on the front cover of People Magazine's latest issue.

Holly Wood Life features People Magazine's front cover. A photo of "The Rock" and his muscles is plastered in the full page. The 2016 Sexiest Man definitely rocked his plain white shirt and jeans outfit. Johnson's charm, look, brawn, and brains make him the perfect owner of the coveted title.

Dwayne Johnson becomes the second black actor who won People's sexiest after Denzel Washington who received the SMA award 20 years ago.

The actor and wrestler shares his thoughts in his newest award on Social Media. "The Rock" posted a photo on Instagram and said that the award only means he still has to wake up at four in the morning to work out extremely sexily.

The current year is a big one for Johnson says Daily Mail. Fresh from his blockbuster hit movie "Central Intelligence" and the hit HBO sports drama "Ballers", the sexist man takes a short break to receive and enjoy his award.

The sexiest man is preparing for his next big project. Johnson will star in Disney's upcoming highly anticipated movie "Moana" where he will be voicing the demigod Maui. "Moana" is due this Thanksgiving.

Johnson's 2017 projects are also all set starting with the new installment of the iconic "Fast and Furious" franchise entitled "Fast 8". "The Rock" will also star as the big hero of "Baywatch" as it invades the big screen. Plus, the sexiest man is also currently filming the live-action film "Jumanji".

"The Rock" joins the sexiest man line-up of David Beckham, Chris Hemsworth, Adam Levine, Channing Tatum, and two-time People's sexiest Brad Pitt, George Clooney, Richard Gere and Johnny Depp. Do you agree with People's choice?
