Ellen DeGeneres, Portia De Rossi Divorce After Celebrating 8th Wedding Anniversary: ‘Finding Dory’ Star’s Anger Issues Cause Of Split?

Ellen DeGeneres and Portia de Rossi are reportedly divorcing just months after celebrating their eighth wedding anniversary. A recent report claims that the "Finding Dory" actress' anger issues and controlling behavior are the reasons behind the couple's split.

Portia de Rossi and Ellen DeGeneres divorce rumors are once again heating up online. A new report from In Touch claims that the 58-year-old talk show host has been struggling with her anger issues and controlling behavior, both of which have taken its toll on their marriage, reports Gossip Cop.

"They fight over Ellen's drinking, her lavish spending - mostly on real estate," said an insider.

The source added that DeGeneres' busy schedule has also gotten in the way of the couple's married life. De Rossi also felt that she was just the "Ellen Show" host's "trophy wife" because the latter allegedly does not want De Rossi to work.

The insider alleges that DeGeneres and her wife are headed for "one of Hollywood's most expensive" divorce ever, as the couple's split is allegedly worth $345 million. However, the publication notes that there is no truth behind this report and DeGeneres and de Rossi are not headed for a divorce.

In a recent interview with People, DeGeneres even gushed about her wife and slammed the never-ending divorce rumors surrounding their relationship. DeGeneres admitted that it took a long time for her to find the kind of relationship she has with the "Scandal" actress.

"I've gotten to a place where I really am just settled," she explained. "I know that I'm not going anywhere. She's not going anywhere."

This statement alone from DeGeneres is enough to put to a stop all the divorce rumors about her and de Rossi. However, reports continue to claim that DeGeneres is just simply trying to put on a front.
