‘X-Men’ And ‘Avengers’ Crossover Movie Not Coming Soon But Can It Still Happen?

To see the powerful cast of Marvel Films, "X-Men" and The Avengers" together in one film will surely be a one-of-a-kind happening that will attract a lot of viewers. However, recent reports say that a crossover of two of the most popular superhero movies is one ambitious project that can't happen anytime soon. Yet fans of Marvel stories need not lose hope as it is still possible to see Wolverine, Deadpool, and Magneto join forces with Captain America, Thor, and Iron Man.

A post from Variety features an interview with the president of Marvel Studios, Kevin Feige wherein he said that their production company is currently loaded with projects so they can't squeeze in an "X-Men" and "Avengers" movie anytime soon. Kevin Feige also adds that they may not find it difficult to reach a deal with Fox, the studio which owns the movie rights of "X-Men."

Marvel surely has its hands full with upcoming films such as "Thor: Ragnarok" and "Spiderman: Homecoming." Aside from that, a number of superhero movies are slated for release in 2017 such as the "Black Panther" and the "Avengers: Infinity War."

Moreover, a post from The StopRu reports an interview with Dave Bautista, wherein the actor said that as a fan, he would be thrilled to see an "X-Men" and "Avengers" movie, yet thinks it is best not to keep hoping to avoid ending up disappointed. Bautista plays the funny character of Drax the Destroyer in another Marvel hit, "Guardians of the Galaxy."

Still, maybe if the demand for such a crossover will be really high, then an "X-Men" and "Avengers" film may not be that impossible. The viewers though should be willing to wait.
