David Barakett mentioned how he went from working at a small real estate office to running a successful marijuana business that has 4 retail dispensaries. The chief cultivation officer of ShowGrow, Jarrod Barakett, also explained how their company switched to online resources for tools that they need for the greenhouse. The company's current operation is now more dependent on the advance technology available compared to the early 2000s.

According to The Guardian, 28 US states have voted to legalized marijuana. However, to the Drug Enforcement Agency, it still has no medicinal value and those caught can be prosecuted.
