‘Supergirl’ Season 2 Episode 8 Full Synopsis, Spoilers: Don’t Miss The Start Of CW Crossover Special Episodes! See More Scoops Here

"Supergirl" Season 2 Episode 8 is expected to see the return of Kara (Melissa Benoist) and Alex Danvers' (Chyler Leigh) mother Eliza (Helen Slater) to celebrate Thanksgiving. There will be some confessions again just like in the previous season but the most exciting part of the new episode is the unexpected arrival of Barry Allen (Grant Gustin). Barry will arrive with Cisco Ramon (Carlos Valdes) and they apparently need Kara in Earth-1 as they need to battle a group of aliens called the Dominators who plan to dominate the world.

"Supergirl" Season 2 Episode 8 synopsis revealed that Alex will come out to his mother, Comingsoon.net reported. This is Alex' second shocking revelation on "Supergirl" Thanksgiving and it remains to be seen how Eliza will react to Alex' new confession. Eliza is not the only Danvers who will get a surprising confession though, as Kara will also learn the truth behind the Guardian from James (Mehcad Brooks) and Winn (Jeremy Jordan).

"Supergirl" Season 2 Episode 8 is also set to see Kara seek Lena Luthor's (Katie McGrath) help to find a way in defeating another project of Cadmus. Cadmus came up with a virus that instantly kills aliens within the area. Also, let's not forget about Mon-El (Chris Wood) who will be celebrating Thanksgiving with the Danvers for the first time.

The official "Supergirl" Season 2 Episode 8 synopsis revealed that Eliza will notice Mon-El's real feelings for Kara. This will reportedly surprise the National City's superhero. However, Kara will need to leave National City for a while to help Barry and his team against the highly technological and mind controlling Dominators, Parent Herald reported.

"Supergirl" Season 2 Episode 8 is the start of the special CW crossover event called "Heroes Vs. Aliens" which will air on Nov. 28. The story will continue with the new episodes of "The Flash," "Arrow" and "Legends of Tomorrow." In the meantime, check out the new trailer of "Supergirl" below.
