Donald Trump’s Reaction To Fidel Castro’s Death Disappoints Netizens, Draws Nasty Comments

Cuban leader, Fidel Castro died last Nov. 25 and just like other world leaders, the newly-elected US President, Donald Trump offered his reaction. However, Trump's initial response to the news is distinctly different from the others just because it is unbelievably short and somewhat meaningless.

A post that appeared in Huffington Post, informed that President Donald Trump took to Twitter to air his reaction by writing this four-word tweet -"Fidel Castro is dead." The public is quick to notice and judge that the Twitter post is a no-brainer.

Others even pointed out that the ultra-short tweet is an embarrassment compared to the lengthy and thoughtful reactions that the leaders in other countries have said. Meanwhile, some netizens even suggested that someone has to delete his Twitter account for his own sake.

In fairness, Donald Trump thus released a much longer and thoughtful statement afterwards about Fidel Castro's demise wherein he called the Cuban leader a dictator. The message also said that the incoming US President is hoping for a better Cuba now that their oppressive dictator is dead.

According to The Washington Post, Trump has not been in good terms with Fidel Castro ever since. In fact, Trump suggested the Cuban's leader arrest and trial in his book, "The America We Deserve." During the nineties, Donald Trump was rumored to be exploring the possibility of opening a casino in Cuba. This is something that he so vehemently denied by saying that he has no intention of doing business in Cuba with Fidel Castro in power.

Meanwhile, Trump previously criticized Obama for signing a one-sided agreement with the Cuban government. Maybe, the incoming President will do something to improve the US-Cuban relations now that Fidel Castro is dead.

What can you say about Donald Trump's reaction to Fidel Castro's death?
