NBA 2016 Latest News: Washington Wizards Bradley Beal Fined $15,000 For Grabbing Evan Fournier’s Throat During Wizards Vs. Magic Game

NBA players had that some ugly times when they lose a grip on themselves and made things go bit unpleasant. The incident happened when Washington Wizards Bradley Beal lost his composure and grabbed Evan Fournier's throat last Friday night during the Washington Wizards vs. Orlando Magic game. The NBA committee was, of course, unhappy about it and punished Washington Wizards star guard with a $15,000 fine.

In the latest NBA 2016 news, the ugly part of the NBA game started during a fourth-quarter scuffle when Kelly Oubre went up for the dunk but Orlando Magic's Bismarck Biyombo blocked it and Kelly got called for the blocking foul, as reported by Washington Post. As they separated Oubre gave Biyombo a push, Biyombo pushed back, and then a lot of guys came together to defend their teammates.

According to the report, while several players from both teams clustered together amid some pushing, Washington Wizards Bradley Beal reached out with his left arm and grabbed Evan Fournier's throat hard enough to leave a mark. The incident, for which Beal was assessed as a technical foul, occurred with 7:40 remaining to play in the fourth quarter Nov. 25 at Amway Center.

However, no punches were thrown. But it doesn't matter because that's going to cost Washington Wizards Bradley Beal $15,000, which the NBA committee announced on Sunday. Bradley Beal and Evan Fournier each picked up technical, which is an automatic $2,000 fine also.

Washington Wizards Bradley Beal could potentially have been called for a flagrant foul and should be ejected from that game, but luckily he wasn't. Washington Wizards Bradley Beal finished with 14 points, 8 assists, and 2 rebounds as the Wizards won 94-91 over the Orlando Magic.

Bradley Beal resigned with the Washington Wizards on July 26, 2016, which he had his career season high on November 19 scoring 34 points in an 114-111 loss to the Miami Heat. Two days later, Washington Wizards Bradley Beal had 30 or more in consecutive games for the first time in his five-year career and recorded a career-high of 42 points in a 106-101 win over the Phoenix Suns.

Do you think Washington Wizards Bradley Beal deserve it the $15000 fine?
