New Study Reveals On How Memory Is Stored And Hidden In The Brain Using Magnets

A new study shows how the brain works when it comes to revealing memories and how it could hide it and also show again when the occasions call for it. This research has been making rounds all over the Internet on December 3.

The brain is a powerful organ in the body. It could hold a lot of memories, and in a second, it also can hide those memories. But when a person needs it, for some reason, such memory could be brought back. In an article published by Stgist, this study that scientists recently discovered on the brain's memory activity could be useful for people who are diagnosed with schizophrenia or individuals who are experiencing depression.

One of the authors of this research said that mental illness is linked on how a person deals with their ability to decide what to think about. Bradley Postle, professor of psychology at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, pointed out that the memory works in the brain through the sustained brain activity. They found out that the brain could keep memories that are not necessarily great far from the tools that checks the brain's activities. One interesting thing that happened is when the brain brought back that particular memory using magnets.

PerfScience also reported this research saying that these scientists used magnets for this experiment and have proven that through magnets, the brain was able to snap back the memories it stored naturally. This study also implies that there is a massive proof now that humans could control a big portion of their brain and what they think about.

This study has opened a lot of doors in the treatment of mental illness. Do you think that it could be the cure for anxiety and schizophrenia? Share your thoughts in the comments below.
