98 Percent Of HIV Strains Can Be Neutralized

The mid of November was described as a remarkable breakthrough by NIAID which is The National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases. Remarkable breakthroughs have been observed in the studies related to HIV, aiming for the prevention of deadly diseases and also for their treatment. Diseases such as the HIV-Human immunodeficiency virus, has proved to be cataclysmic.

HIV is said to be the causes that lead to Acquired Immune Deficiency syndrome or AIDS. An antibody known as the "N6" antibody is said to be a very power containing antibody. This antibody is helpful in neutralisation of the HIV virus and not
only neutralisation but also the binding to the surface. This antibody was found and discovered by the breakthrough centres.

The press has explained that it was a difficult task to identify the antibody that was needed for the neutralisation of the HIV, as the disease changed its proteins present on the surface way too often.
The antibody however, was first discovered in person containing HIV. Another antibody was discovered in the year 2010. The antibody was called VRC01.

VRC01, however blocks 90 percent of HIV, on the other hand N6 blocks 98 percent HIV. The Daily Mail says that VRC01 is being currently used for clinical trials. It is yet to be known which antibody is doing the work best. Best it is said that N6 may offer more prevention compared to VRC01. N6 HIV is a hope for people suffering from AIDS. And is hoped for reducing the cases over time.

The researchers, drove by Mark Connors, M.D of NIAID, likewise followed the advancement of N6 after some time to see how it built up the capacity to strongly kill almost all HIV strains, the public statement states. This data will illuminate the outline of immunizations to inspire such as comprehensively killing antibodies.
